Gwydd Crazyhammer

-Someone romantically interested in them?
Gwydd would not bother to go into the romance of the relationship, or really care to find out anything about the other person other than sexual encounters. "Ah've'ad one wife, one soul, tha's all Ah'need."

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
On to the next job.

-Having a child?
Take care of it, "It's me kid, lad, me blood."

-Friends/family killed?
Give thanks to the Earth Mother that he still lives, and pray for their spirits.

-Being outsmarted?
He would call them a Duffy.

-Being told a bland joke?
"Ye're a Duffy."

-Stepping on a nail?
Be in a lot of pain?

-Eating something disgusting?
Not eat it, and probably tell whoever made it that it sucked.

-Buying a slave?
Greed and lust are taking hold of him, so probably go along with it and use them to their fullest capabilities.

Leanna West

-Someone romantically interested in them?

Be struck with disbelief, possibly flirt back depending on the person.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?

Hate it, curse loudly, blame herself and pressuring herself to do everything perfect from now on.

-Having a child?

I'm.. not sure, I think she may become very adultish all of the sudden. Treat her baby the best she can, be always there for it, etc.

-Friends/family killed?

Suffer from it, mourn, shout, curse.. everything to vent. If she knows who did it, she'd either get guards after him/her, or kill him/her herself.

-Being outsmarted?

Learn from it, throw in a sheepish grin at that time but remember to not mess with him/her till she studied.

-Being told a bland joke?

Depending on the joke, either like or dislike.

-Stepping on a nail?

Curse loudly, dance around on one leg then carry on when the pain stops.

-Eating something disgusting?

Excuse herself, spit it out in the next bucket/secluded place she sees.

-Buying a slave?

She wouldn't be near such auctions I guess, but if she had the cash? Free it afterwards.
Quote:Perhaps one day, at a new sight,
We will search again for that light.
Hold it close, between our arms,
Listen again, to the priestess her charms.

Here's one for my Orc, Cutathr!

-Someone romantically interested in them?
As long as it's a cute guy, he'd go for 'em. If not.. Eh, he'd try to let them down easy.
-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
He'd be pretty freakin' sad!
-Having a child?
He'd wonder how he slept with a female in the first place.
-Friends/family killed?
Bloodrage!
-Being outsmarted?
If it's between friends: He's laugh. Between enemies: He'd wanna try and cleave 'em.
-Being told a bland joke?
He'd laugh nervously.
-Stepping on a nail?
Probably let out a grunt, then swear as he tears the thing out of his foot.
-Eating something disgusting?
Spit it out, of course!
-Buying a slave?
He wouldn't buy a slave. Ever.

And one for Malth!

-Someone romantically interested in them?
He'd care more about his gauntlets than a love interest.
-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
He'd probably either get revenge for such foolery, or he'd vent his anger on some Scourge.
-Having a child?
Malth would question as to how he managed to father a baby, in his current state of life.
-Friends/family killed?
Just like Malth did to Toranak - raise them as a Ghoul, and kill whatever did it.
-Being outsmarted?
N/A. You cannot outsmart Malth. Malth outsmarts you.
-Being told a bland joke?
Malth has no time for jokes.. And enjoys a more sadist style of humour.
-Stepping on a nail?
He wouldn't give it a second thought.
-Eating something disgusting?
N/A. Tongue doesn't work.
-Buying a slave?
He'd make the slave do plenty of tasks - mostly suicidal.

And finally, before I sleep, one for Sondai!

-Someone romantically interested in them?
Sondai really doesn't have much time for "friends", persay. Although, he would like a chance of fathering a child, so he'd more than likely attempt to show interest in the person.
-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
He'd eat chips while he builds his ego back up.
-Having a child?
Sondai would more than likely treat the child as an apprentice rather than a child - that said, he'd still show some sort of love.
-Friends/family killed?
Sondai knows plenty of people, and isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. He'd make sure that the murderer(s) were/was dead.
-Being outsmarted?
He'd react somewhat calmly, however, his mind would be whirring with possible escape routes and lies, depending on the scenario.
-Being told a bland joke?
He wouldn't really laugh. He'd probably just nod in recognition.
-Stepping on a nail?
He'd swear. A lot.
-Eating something disgusting?
Well, he'd see if the Salty Sailor got a new chef, because he pretty much only eats the chips that the chef makes.
-Buying a slave?
Done it before, and he'll more than likely do it again. As long as the slave is of some promise other than trivial and meaningless labour, he'd free them, and probably hire them.
Jeneal jumps into the water. "HAHAHAHAHA!" She turns into a seal.

Terant Sin'reial

-Someone romantically interested in them?
Just go along with it if it's someone he likes. Just ignore it if it's someone he doesn't like. Confront them if it's someone really persistent who he doesn't like.
-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
He'd try to find out what he did wrong, then try to improve everything.
-Having a child?
Terant is probably my only character who would be a good parent.
-Friends/family killed?
Try to hunt down and arrest/kill whoever did it.
-Being outsmarted?
"Touché"
-Being told a bland joke?
Pity laugh
-Stepping on a nail?
Ow! *Heal with the Light*
-Eating something disgusting?
Suck it up, if he was hungry enough. If not, just get through the bite he had and ignore the rest.
-Buying a slave?
Not gonna happen, sorry.

Neera Sharpbolt

-Someone romantically interested in them?
Ha! She might beat it out of him.
-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Massive anger explosion.
-Having a child?
Gnomes can have abortions, right?
-Friends/family killed?
REVENGE
-Being outsmarted?
REVENGE
-Being told a bland joke?
"......"
-Stepping on a nail?
"FUUUUCK!"
-Eating something disgusting?
Throw it away.
-Buying a slave?
Eh, it's doubtful but not impossible. She'd probably just make the slave fight for Gnomeregan.

Cathera Lutter

-Someone romantically interested in them?
Be very flirty, but don't let them actually have anything.
-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Shrug and move on.
-Having a child?
Experiment on the child, maybe? Or raise it to be a powerful warlock.
-Friends/family killed?
Shrug and move on.
-Being outsmarted?
Try to be smarter.
-Being told a bland joke?
Fake laugh. Perhaps a bit too enthusiastically.
-Stepping on a nail?
Try to find someone to heal it?
-Eating something disgusting?
Won't eat it.
-Buying a slave?
Most likely for experiments.

Sure ill answer for my main character, Clover. ^^

-Someone romantically interested in them?
Assume they were talking about someone else. Point at the nearest blood elf. Blink. Summon up some coffee. Drink the coffee, spray the coffee in a very shock-gag manner, then become very flustered and embarrased around the person, probably falling flat on her face at some point.

Good chance she would be happy about it, but that wont stop her blushing for a few...days.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
She would hang her head and stay quiet, ashamedly

-Having a child?
Would have absolutely no idea what to do with it, though would try her best to see it raised well
-Friends/family killed?
Would most likely be much more quiet for a good few days and try and pretend everything was ok. Iff someone braught it up in a way she couldnt escape however, she would likely break down in tears. If she saw it happen, she would most likely set the murderor on fire from the inside out, then later regret it.
-Being outsmarted?
Would probably have a lot more respect for the person afterwords, but like hell would she admit it :P

-Being told a bland joke?
Laugh, wouldnt want them to feel bad.

-Stepping on a nail?
Curse very loudly in gnomish, causing all nearby gnomish jaw's to drop about a foot. Hop about fora good few moments before rolling about on the floor overdramatically till someone helped.

-Eating something disgusting?
Turn very green and try to pretend she still liked it. For up to 2 minuites, before she would either force herself to swallow it, or rush off to the nearest bathroom, or both.
-Buying a slave?
Never. Not in a million years. Buying it to release it just promotes more slaving. Buying it to use it is just cruel.

Forgot to do ones for Jabtok and John! Sorry for the double post!

Jabtok

-Someone romantically interested in them?
What is romance to Jabtok but lust and greed? He would take full advantage of them.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Try and fight the person who fired him, or grumble and walk away.

-Having a child?
Surprisingly, Jabtok really loves children and wants to raise a kid.

-Friends/family killed?
Forget about it. Save for his father.

-Being outsmarted?
He'd never admit being outsmarted.

-Being told a bland joke?
Try and punch them and tell them it was stupid.

-Stepping on a nail?
Grunt in pleasure and intense pain... creepy freaking troll.

-Eating something disgusting?
Not eat it, he'd tell them it sucked and cook something better himself.

-Buying a slave?
He's a slaver, he doesn't buy, he takes.

Johnathan Williams

-Someone romantically interested in them?
John would probably investigate and flirt with them.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Find something else worthwhile to do, man's gotta make a living!

-Having a child?
He'd try and raise the child well and have him go through schooling and all that jazz... yeah.

-Friends/family killed?
Pray, Grief, and Time.

-Being outsmarted?
Try to cleverly admit that he was wrong, yet not give up his pride.

-Being told a bland joke?
Laugh anyway... politics!

-Stepping on a nail?
Be in a ton of pain?

-Eating something disgusting?
Depends on the situation, he'd probably eat it out of respect.

-Buying a slave?
He wouldn't buy one. It's illegal!

This is for Vol'ajar:

-Someone romantically interested in them?
One night stand

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Do the mission or job anyway, and get the job back.

-Having a child?
Yes but he'd manipulate things so that another guy would be tricked into acting as the father.

-Friends/family killed?
Killing whoever killed his friends/family.

-Being outsmarted?
He is the smartest being in the world, so this will never happen.

-Being told a bland joke?
People are too scared to tell him bland jokes.

-Stepping on a nail?
Kill the nail.

-Eating something disgusting?
Throw it up and then kill whoever made it.

-Buying a slave?
He doesn't buy slaves.
Pain is an illusion.

Babs:
-Someone romantically interested in them?
They'd better be persistent. Babs doesn't swoon easily, but if they can hold their own as a badass tinker and show an interest in aviation, that's at least a foot in the door. But yeah -- persistence is key with her.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Livid, Babbakin would set to fixing her flying machine. Even if there was nothing to fix. She'd make something to fix, to get her mind off of it.

-Having a child?
She'd be outraged, at first. No doubt she'd warm up to the idea after a while. Heck, someone she could one day train in the ways of pewpew flying and engineering? She'd be all over that. She's a very maternal figure, contrary to popular belief.

-Friends/family killed?
This has happened several times, and every time, a few more wires in her brain snap, either going into a hardcore fit of isolation or denial.

-Being outsmarted?
Anger! Big surprise there. Then she'd probably try to extract her revenge.

-Being told a bland joke?
"...Yeahno."

-Stepping on a nail?
That would be a very, very unfortunate nail. She'd most likely pry it out, bend it with her bare hands, stomp on it, kick it across the floor, slam it with a hammer a few times over, then toss it into a forge.

-Eating something disgusting?
Ulp. Gag. Force down bite. Have several words for the chef. Complain that back in the days of the Forces, people knew how to make grilled cheese sammiches with chneentos.

-Buying a slave?
Teach it how to hand her tools when she needed them. Or sell it for a new set of awesome fire decals for her flying machine.

Hilda Hammerhall, paladin of the Holy Light:

-Someone romantically interested in them?
Flattered, but not interested. (Unless of course the fellow in question has an exceptionally eye-fetching beard)

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
If the decision is justified, it will do no good to protest.

-Having a child?
Hopefully not until far off into the future. But then again a proper dwarven woman owes it to her clan and family to help the population grow, which in itself is both an honor and a privilege.

-Friends/family killed?
Sadness followed by acceptance. Revenge is a petty thing that doesn't bring the lost ones back to life.

-Being outsmarted?
A chance to do better next time. Everyone makes mistakes.

-Being told a bland joke?
Courtesy laugh. At least they tried.

-Stepping on a nail?
"Damn and blast your eyes" if it manages to go through the thick steel boots.

-Eating something disgusting?
Wouldn't want to insult customs, and sometimes you just have to make due with what is available.

-Buying a slave?
Absolutely out of the question. Slavery is a cruel and uncivilized practice that has no place in the modern world of spiritual and technological enlightenment.

Garren in Blue
Lok'magrosh in Red

-Someone romantically interested in them?
He would pitty the individual and do what he could to get them to understand that he is not fit for such feelings
If he returns their feelings, he would try to be the best partner he could be, if not then he would try to let the person down easy before walking away from the person.
-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Try to argue for his position, if fail he would likely try to work fromt he shadows
Laugh it off and enjoy a few drinks in the tavern. There's always more work out there.
-Having a child?
Can't Have kids. Undead
Would put down his sword and shield and devote himself to his family
-Friends/family killed?
Sulk into a depression. Likely lose all drive to carry on
Morn quietly when alone but seek justice when given a chance
-Being outsmarted?
Rage and change tactics
Likely laugh and take it as a challenge
-Being told a bland joke?
Chuckle anyway
Say it was bland
-Stepping on a nail?
Pull it out and toss it to the side
May curse if it catches him off guard, otherwise treat the injury if its bad.
-Eating something disgusting?
Stomach it, a paladin should not be picky.
Eat it and careless for its taste. Hard to taste with a dead tongue
-Buying a slave?
Free the slave at first chance
The same as Lok'magrosh

Najib Istvan Wellmaker

-Someone romantically interested in them?
More then likely he would be uncomfortable around said person, as he swore off lust upon becoming a paladin. If said person presisted, maybe in a long self-conflicted struggle, Najib would finally accept it.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Bow his head and pray. Then take to the streets to collect donations for what-ever charity he decided to help with.

-Having a child?
Though unlikely, he would probably make sure both mother and child held a deep reverance for the light, and grew into kind individuals from the event.

-Friends/family killed?
He would mourn for days, weeks, maybe even months at a time. Lementing their loss, and praying for a peaceful rest in death.

-Being outsmarted?
Smile and nod, then inform them they were correct, and beg the light to forgive him for any false words he may have accidently spoke.

-Being told a bland joke?
Smile at the teller, somewhat uncomfortably.

-Stepping on a nail?
He was a marine back in the second war. He's got plenty of battle wounds. He would ignore showing signs of pain, and quickly work on disinfecting and healing it.

-Eating something disgusting?
Najib has lost his care to differ from disgusting and tastey.

-Buying a slave?
Never! The light forbids entrapping individuals.
☃ This is my snowman. He's there to remind me how much I hate the snow.

Spoiler:
Jean

-Someone romantically interested in them?
She would fist fight them, to make sure they weren't weak.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Chh. She would probably punch them in the face.

-Having a child?
She'd probably be more careful this time around. No fisticuffs, smoking, or traveling over seas for her. She couldn't afford losing another revenge.

-Friends/family killed?
Seek revenge.

-Being outsmarted?
Pfft. Like she would really notice.

-Being told a bland joke?
Shrug it off. Her humor is pretty bad anyways.

-Stepping on a nail?
Probably bite her lip till it bleeds and then pull it out.

-Eating something disgusting?
Probably muster down enough strength to eat it, just because.

-Buying a slave?
She would probably buy the slave and release them. She isn't one for forcing someone to do something like that.
Spoiler:
Agragga

-Someone romantically interested in them?
She would spar them, she could not become involved with an Orc who couldn't hold his own.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Being demoted or fired would weigh heavy on her, but she would move on and continue working.

-Having a child?
She really wants to have children actually and would raise them the way she was; with an iron fist, an axe in hand, jogging on the mind and honor in the heart.

-Friends/family killed?
...Seek revenge.

-Being outsmarted?
She would dismiss it like nothing happened.

-Being told a bland joke?
Probably stare.

-Stepping on a nail?
She would pull it out and toss it aside.

-Eating something disgusting?
She probably wouldn't care.

-Buying a slave?
Depends on the slave. If it was of a race she did not like, she'd probably release it in the parts of the woods she knows and hunt it. If it was of a race she liked, she'd totally let them free.

Spoiler:
Zealaya

-Someone romantically interested in them?
She probably would not do anything at this point in time.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
Go get drunk and pass out somewhere in the Barrens.

-Having a child?
Raise it in the non-traditionalist Troll fashion.

-Friends/family killed?
Dismiss it and get drunk.

-Being outsmarted?
Zealaya is seldom outsmarted. :P

-Being told a bland joke?
She'd blink at them a few times.

-Stepping on a nail?
Cry, a lot.

-Eating something disgusting?
Spit it out and shove it back.

-Buying a slave?
She wouldn't because of certain things.

How would your character react to...

-Someone romantically interested in them?

Nexariel: Already loads of folks interested in her that way, and I guess because she doesn't have the heart to hurt them, doesn't do anything to stop them from feeling that way.

Kimee: She'd likely be all over it, but I pity the poor sap who gets her.

Lexi: She'd flirt and tease quite a bit.

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?

Nexariel: She doesn't care about rank, so she wouldn't be phased, and she works for herself anyway.

Kimee: She'd pretend she were okay with it, but plot to kill the one who demoted her and the one who replaced her, and whoever would replace that one, and so on.

Lexi: She also works for herself, but she'd be pretty embarrassed if she were demoted.

-Having a child?

Nexariel: She already treats nearly everyone as if they were her child. I'm sure she'd just love one of her own.

Kimee: She's a bit old for kids, but kids are perhaps the only thing that bring out her genuine caring side. I'd say she'd love one, but her work isn't safe for kids at all.

Lexi: She isn't really the type for kids. She knows the life she leads isn't a safe one, and is impressed to have lived as long as she has. She'd never want to make a child live through the loss of their parents like she had to.

-Friends/family killed?

Nexariel: At first she was quite devastated when her family was wiped out at the hands of the Legion and Orcs, but after beginning her training in Shamanism and coming to know the Spirits and Elements that live in all things, she feels connected to those she lost, and to those she has yet to lose.

Kimee: She's a bit of a sociopath, so while she may act like she's saddened at the news of the loss, she really wouldn't care. In fact, one of her goals is to slaughter her elder sister and parents for what she has interpreted as the mistreatment she suffered at their hands during her youth.

Lexi: She's already lost everyone she cares about except for Raphael. Goodness, if she lost him... she'd fall into a deep level of depression as a result of blaming herself for his death ( like she did with her own family ), and likely just give up on life and off herself.

-Being outsmarted?

Nexariel: She's not arrogant enough to think she's the cleverest person alive, and being outsmarted will only confirms this. She'd take it in stride and continue her path to greater wisdom.

Kimee: She'd plot her revenge, kill the offender, and raise it as her undead minion. She always gets the last laugh.

Lexi: Depending on the offender's height, send the butt of her shotgun at their most fragile area.

-Being told a bland joke?

Nexariel: She's just smile and nod.

Kimee: Shrug and go back to her studies.

Lexi: Tell them how much they fail, maybe even try to turn the joke back around on them.

-Stepping on a nail?

Nexariel: Not sure... Probably make sure her hoof wasn't infected!

Kimee: Scream and cry like a baby.

Lexi: Demonstrate her sailor's mouth.

-Eating something disgusting?

Nexariel: Force herself to eat it. Far too nice.

Kimee: Spit it out and go on a rant about how the young folk don't know how to cook, and food tasted far better in her day.

Lexi: Spit it out and exclaim something inappropriate.

-Buying a slave?

Nexariel: She'd only buy a slave with the intention of setting it free.

Kimee: She'd not likely buy a slave when she could make one. Undead minions are far easier to maintain and replace.

Lexi: She'd purchase slaves and put them to work in the mines. Provided they were Hordies, of course, and if she could keep the information away from Raphael, who seems to have Hordie friends.

Valira von Rosenstiel, the Conniving Confessor
  • Someone romantically interested in them?
It all depends on how useful they are. If they can be a use to her she will string that interest along, currying romance in exchange for service. If not? She will demurely decline any advance.

  • Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
She would be mortified. The greatest insult to her is being called incompetent. She will pry until she discovered what she did wrong. She will then find another job/mission with an enemy group and excel at it to demonstrate to her old employers her worth.

  • Having a child?
She believes children tie down wandering souls. She would give the child to another, keeping in touch and endearing herself to the child without caring for it unilt it reached suitable age to assist her in her work.

  • Friends/family killed?
Depends. If it was someone she loved dearly she would be genuinely sorrowful. She would order a hit on the killer and have them eliminated in a suitable manner. If it wasn't someone dear? Feign sorrow and use her waxen grief for personal benefit.

  • Being outsmarted?
She will hide her furiosity. She will seek out a way to publicly embarrass her opponent, demeaning and destroying any intellectual superiority others would perceive the opponent having over her. Then she would neuter any revenge attempts from them and leave them to live with their shame.

  • Being told a bland joke?
She would laugh good-naturedly and pretend it was funny.

  • Stepping on a nail?
She would yelp, hop around and act like any normal person would if they get a giant nail stuck in their foot.

  • Eating something disgusting?
If the chef was present she would eat it all and offer constructive yet polite criticism. If the chef was not present she would excuse herself and pay an individual to clear it from her presence before returning.

  • Buying a slave?
The idea of slavery intrigues her. Yet politics prevents her from every indulging. She would decline.

  • Being offered to hold a desirable item?
She would hold it and return it promptly. She would tell another to inquire about if the item was for sale. If it was then she would purchase it. If it wasn't she would pay an individual to steal it.

  • Told to kill someone?
She would ask if it was necessary. If it was she would hire another through proxies and have them do the deed.

Spoiler:
Darumok

-Someone romantically interested in them?
This really depends on the circumstances, and the person in question. If it was a female Orc though, he would try to "explore" her further by asking questions; test her boundaries with, for instance, jokes of various shapes and forms. And would most likely tease her. All to see how that person works, and if she is what he wants. He is a hunter, and as such would not shy from the hunt, but would in fact pursue it!

-Being demoted or fired from a job or mission?
He would be angry, or rather: pissed off. However, deep down, that'd be because of the dishonor of not being able to follow the orders of the employer, and thus it would come down to broken self-esteem, and not living up to his own expectations.

-Having a child?
He would thank the ancestors for blessing him with offspring to continue the family. If it was a son, he would teach him the meaning of honor, the significance of valor, and how to fight for himself, the family and the Horde - by fist and by word. (The latter in limited a sense, though...)

If it was a daughter, he'd teach her the same moral ethics, although wouldn't put as much emphasis on the fighting part, believing that the next child, a son, would do the fighting in the family when Darumok grows old.

-Friends/family killed?
He would go to the top of a hill, be without food, drink and company for three days: all in order to gain more insight, leaving behind the earthly ways temporarily to be closer to the dead ancestors. If he'd get an answer to his question of what to do next (or imagined one because of dehydration), he would pursue what they told him to pursue. If not, he would avenge the family's deaths, but be heart broken for not gaining the insight and support of the ancestors, and would thus be a walking 'dead' himself.

-Being outsmarted?
If of a race other than the Orcish: he would try to insult him/her with the use of witty words. If of the Orcish race, though: ... He'd probably do the same thing, though admittedly more as a joke rather than with the intention to offend. Perhaps he'd even accept it and smile, if it was a good friend or close family.

-Being told a bland joke?
Would become irritated, and perhaps even angry. According to Darumok, if there is nothing good to say, then there shouldn't be anything said at all. Good is relative though, and very biased in his mind, as a bland joke easily could become 'good' if used to insult an enemy of Darumok, or simply someone that irritates the hell out of him.

-Stepping on a nail?
Curse, and pull it out. Would be irritated for the hour to come, minimum.

-Eating something disgusting?
He'd get irritated. And most likely spit it out, preferably on the person serving it (should it be food).

-Buying a slave?
Depends alot on the race of the slave. An Orc he'd set free, if proven worthy of such an honor; and the same for Trolls and Tauren. However, a slave of any other race, he would spit at, swear at, cuss at, beat on, and many more fun things that come with unwilling servitude! Lok'tar Ogar!
