The Blades of Autumn

Formerly two seperate guilds, the Blades of Autumn are a mixture of survivors from the Blades of Valor, who are battle hardened and trained against the Voids biggest weapon, temptation. The other side is composed of the House of Autumn, Annabelle's vigilanties who fight against the malefic Heretic Circus.

The Blades of Valor:
Silesta Songstrider gave up on her own people after they gave up on her, for simple loss of sight. At the beggining the Blades of Valor were a small group of vigilanties, who fought off random evils. Silesta Songstrider formed the Blades of Valor from the people who were teaching her how to fight with out sight. She picked up quickly and found that using other senses she could fight like a proffesional swords man. (PM me if you wanna know how/why she can do this.)
After a while Silesta noticed bandits and such spreading rumors of the evils that occured in Dead Wind pass. After doing a little research she discovered that a cult named "The Void" have been capturing bandits and travellers and sacrificing them for an unknown cause. Silesta gathered who she could and fought the Void in the Light forsaken canyons of Deadwind pass. Though she was victorious only a handful of the Blades of Valor survived. They scattered across Azeroth and lived out their lives as before.
It was not long before the winds echoed tales of the Void returning, attacks in the Barrens of Kalimdor drew Silesta's attention. She gathered who she could. Through this she met the human priest named Annabelle, the two groups merged to form the Blades of Autumn.

Now they stand together against forces of evil.

The Summary

Autumn, the time between the brightness of summer and the dark chill of winter. A between, a border, a line. The races of Azeroth stand behind, on and beyond that line separating light and dark. Autumn is also a time of harvest, where farmers gather the fruit of their labors to guard against the coming cold. They separate the wheat from the chaff, and save the seeds to ensure a bright future in the next bright season. The House of Autumn takes these ideas and symbols in mind and stands on that line between light and dark to fend off the chill of death and darkness.
Besides investigating potential evil, paranormal investigations take place. Yes, ghosts and hauntings.
We take anyone, so long as they prove they are not evil, and not using their powers for evil. Yes, that means Warlocks, Shadow Priests, and Death Knights are welcome. However, those of a darker ilk will go through a lengthy approval process.
The guild is lead by three persons, three branches. Investigations, Battle, and the Holy Light.

The Ranks

Soil - Dark initiate
Seed - Not-so-dark initiate
Wheat - Those proficient in the Light
Scythe - Those responsible for eliminating threats. While The House of Autumn wishes for a peaceful road to the Light, battle is inevitable.
Sun - Investigations. These people shed light in dark corners, and thus route out what is hiding in the shadows.
Harvest Master - The guild leader.

The Goals

To guard against the coming darkness of the Scourge and Legion. To provide guidance for wayward souls back to the Light without fear of scorn.


The Rules

IC
Using ones abilities for wicked purposes is forbidden.
The guild is lead by three high ranking members.: Annabelle, Alexas, and Elisabeth. A member will respect each leader of each section, with Annabelle as the final authority.
We do not tolerate traitors. Annabelle will attempt to put off death as long as possible if the traitor seeks forgiveness and wishes to atone. If not, death is inevitable.

OOC
Respect - No acting like a moron to annoy other people for kicks.
Language - While I'm pretty free with cursing, using strong language just for shock value won't be tolerated.
No metagaming/godmoding - We try to rely as much as possible on good investigative work. Yes, sometimes we use magic but we try not to automatically "sense" things. Try to work out potential metagaming/godmoding issues with the other party.
Obey the server rules.

The Recruits

Either Annabelle, Alexas, or Elisabeth will recruit if they think you might be interested. You also could have heard from word of mouth, so feel free to approach any one of us.

Base

The actual house of the House of Autumn is in flux as we follow the wicked around Azeroth and to the ends of the Twisting Nether.
