*Ahem* Thank you everyone that has shown initiative to edit the prestige wiki pages, but (Upon request of the higher ups) thatyou don't edit the prestige contents (Pictures are fine). There is still a furious debate with the GMs on how we're going to make prestiges work.

I'll be working on locations from tomorrow onwards. Nothing much, pointing the obvious, settlements, how to get there, and if anything diverges from vanilla WoW. (Portals).

Piroska and myself want to see more pictures of characters up on the wiki for use to put you guys up on the Featured Character Profile. I am offering to recreate any character in anyway shape or form in any outfit to place on the wiki, all you need to do is send me a PM or post here with preferably a screenshot of your character and a list of the gear you want on said character.

Now another thing we are focusing on concerning the wiki is the transferring of guides onto the wiki for quick reference accessible to anyone! What we would like you guys to do to help us out is if you guys have read any guides on our site and you really would like to see it up on the wiki, post the title of it here and we will do all the work from there!

Thank you for your time.

As I've gotten active with the wiki in recent months, I wish to offer this in order to help add on and improve the wiki. So, anyone looking to add a character image can send a screenshot or WoW Model Viewer character file to:

[email protected]

Put your forum name in the subject so I know who it is from.

You can alternatively PM or post screen shots here if you prefer!

Based on some recent discussion, I'll be writing up a tutorial on using WMV and GIMP to create simple images, which can be used on the wiki, here on the forums, or anywhere your heart desires. The result will be something similar to what I currently use on my characters page.

Also, holy crap. The brain cannot handle switching between wikitext and MyCode. I had to rewrite that blasted link twice just to get it right.

Pokey pokey prod.

Want to have your own images on the wiki and don't want to bother someone else to get them done? Afraid that they can't correctly capture your vision? Use the WMV + GIMP = Simple Character Images tutorial!

Then, when the image magic has been done, use these simple steps to place them on the wiki:
  1. Visit this page to begin your upload.
  2. Use the Browse button to locate your file.
  3. Where is says summary add the following code: [[Category:Character images]]. Ideally, everything on the wiki should be categorized!
  4. Click the Upload file button.
  5. Go to the article where you'd like to place this image.
  6. Click the Edit button at the very top of the page.
  7. In the editing box, enter the following code: [[File:FILENAME.WHATEVER|right|150px]]. The 150px refers to a width of 150px and may be edited to whatever you prefer. The right will float the image to the right of all text.

Please note that you must have an account on the wiki in order to make these edits. This account is separate for your forums/game account, but it would be best if you sign up using your forums name.
