I believe so too.

OT:
Well done GM's. The table of classes seems good.
Now let us hope that people will do their best to roll these classes with style! 8)
Characters:

Mistal'aerix <-- In the making
Misjana Minaar <-- Brewing some plots...

If you are interested in playing a character with a prestige class that isn't on the list (or is a custom one) just PM a GM about it.

You can allready do this. 1 handed sword, and there re a number of off hand one handed staff's :)

Also, GM team, thank you very much for the hard work put into this :)

Quote:On Runemasters, Inscribers, and Necromancers

Note that Runemasters, Inscribers, and Necromancers are essentially classes on their own, not a tacked on title that increases one's power in a particular direction. As such, if someone chooses to become one of the above titles, they forsake their old class and become the new one, losing all powers they had as their old class. For example, a Shaman who chooses to become a Runemaster loses the ability to use any Shaman spells upon learning the runes, due to his changed area of focus.

What does this mean exactly for Necromancers, though? The only thing I've ever used from Necromancy is the ability to raise the dead, which is why I've always seen it as something you can just tack on to what you already are. So is there some list of spells besides those on our wiki that we necromancers have access to?

I imagine they'd have access to any unholy based spells. Essentially, look to the 'Death' based spells of a DK.

Death Coil, Raise Dead, etc.

I have a question: Can IC training be set in the past, like two or three years ago? I figured if you haven't used your character in RP yet, and have nothing to retcon from it, perhaps you could make IC posts and tie it in with the character's history.

Essentially making the character history their training, you mean?
Jeneal jumps into the water. "HAHAHAHAHA!" She turns into a seal.

Yeah. If I wanted to have like 2 or 3 years of training and I started now, well, that would take a long time, wouldn't it? Ouch x_x

Perhaps you can work something out with the GMs?

I just glance through the RP books and figure most spells under the 'necromancy' category.

Question:

Will there be any distinctions between prestige characters made before this hiatus and those made after? Will this new set of rules and stipulations apply to them or are they to follow the old character guidelines?

There'll be no change, other than the ones that Grakor mentioned such at Necromancer/Runemaster etc. All this really does is allow you to have more prestige characters in full.

Question - where did the Infiltrator class go? It looks like a valid Category One prestige. It's in both the Warcraft and the WoW RPGs as a prestige class and seems like an interesting way for a rogue to go. It's still on the wiki but not on the lists. Could somebody clarify?
