No High Elf Forsaken?

Its easily assumable that, given that there are Dark Rangers showing up from the Undercity's ranks [In Northrend and Undercity], that they would train forsaken as them as well. Nothing at all would prevent a forsaken from becoming one, and I doubt Sylvanas really cares that non-undeadelves are taking the training. Its more skilled rangers under her control, after all.

Well ... Official lore this and thats:
Quote:All members of the Forsaken race are either humans or of elven descent (high elves and half-elves). However they also control a few abominations as well. The Royal Apothecary Society has independently accepted in a few undead dwarves, leper gnomes, even some orcs, and trolls have joined the society, as apothecaries, but these are not considered true Forsaken,

Take it as you will, that's official Bliz lore. Not server lore.

Yet, sad fact remains. No matter how this goes. You still wouldnt get to play as abonmination.
Lower the flags, a good man has passed.
He has reached the last of frontiers.
Lower the flags, down to half-mast.
For again the world has taken a turn for the worse.

That's mostly because on the server they'd prefer that your character can be reflected by the model, and is pretty much the same race it is in game than out of game. I think the only exception to these are ghouls, and at one time there was a succubus but said character was deleted later on.

Just play a Deathknight if you want to be a Forsaken Elf. They can have the same grey skin easily enough.
Knowledge is half the battle.
The other half is violence.

Can we all just let it go? I believe those of us who started this argument have let it go. I know I have. The rule won't change, and sadly, we can't make it change. So just let it be. :/

Oh yeah, Hamsic. Trying to find a way around the rule is a bad idea.

DKs blood elves are still blood elves, to clarify.

That's true... But some still refer to them as undead because they were technically killed then reanimated. Not sure if that is the answer you wanted though....

On related note, is it possible to be a Forsaken that was killed and reanimated following the third war?

Technically, if you allow someone to play as a Forsaken High Elf you would also enable people to play as San'layn, A race of Undead Blood Elves. Yes I realize that Blood Elves and High Elves are different, but they are similar enough that if a High Elf descends into undeath that it would create a San'layn just as if the Blood Elf became undead. Just my opinion.
