Here is where five paragraphs go in further detail. In these paragraphs are also accusations of pie lovers doing things they didn't do. It also accuses the GM's in aiding these pie lovers love of pie.
For you see, the world, CoTH included, is run by one giant pie maker conglomerate, trying to oppress us cookie lovers. Ramble ramble ramble.
Here is me replying where I'm behaving cynically and then begin attributing CotH to yet another piece of junk food. Clearly things are becoming heated!

What I like about CotH is that it's rather humble. You see, alot of other RP private servers tend to have rather loose "prestige systems" and everyone wants to be better than another. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that most people around here roll fight, and don't trust. You see, knowing that there is a 50% chance that you will lose a fight, makes people avoid Mary Sueish characters, and it adds a bit more of a realism - that ganging up on people actually gives you a bigger advantage.
If everyone trust fighted, people could just make their characters extremly overpowered and we would end up as all the others. When I first started out here I thought the introduction approval, character approval and everything was rather harsh - but I realized that it's for the greater good of the server. On other servers, people want as powerful characters as possible, asap. Not many of these people are ready to write a 10-paged prestige thread - and all the hard work is actually a good filter.
And our staff is rather humble also. Compared to other servers, where GM's try to act like gods and be almighty and act better than everyone else. The GMs here are actually hand-picked by adminubs, and it's not because of all the neat commands they get - but because they want to help out the server.
Just my two cents. :3

"Good roleplaying is not equivalent to saying that your character is not interested or molded for a certain situation.
Quite the contrary - good roleplaying is making up a reason for your character to do that thing, no matter the obstacles!"
