Question on alignment.

This is what I find so hard, that he can be Chaotic Good and Lawful Evil, which are exact opposite. He kills evil, like Knock said - but he also likes the power that he got by being the leader of a guild, and being a powerful man is something that suits him. He would never abuse it though, but he tends to be rather proud of it - and it makes people keep their fingers off him.

Those overlap easily because the two types could behave similarly easily. Where as the lawful evil person has a code of conduct that that enforces why or how he is evil, the choatic good person has a powerful heart that causes him to behave in the favor of good when the time calls for it. Finding pleasure in killing sounds like a more evil trait, and only killing people he finds guilty sounds like a lawful trait. A chaotic good person might not put that much thought into it, but would more likely act on the impulse of defending someone who's weak with lethal force.

Well, Coriv has some psychopathic traits - but it's rather mild, seeing as "I kill others, and like it" is the only trait that he has. He only enjoys killing the "bad guys" because he knows that it will add to the "greater good".

Coriv doesn't have a code of conduct, but he made one for his "Blades" (Guild members) that they should follow.

He haven't really had any reason to break them yet, but he would if he absolutely had to.

/shrug He still sounds lawful evil to me. But Im getting the impression you don't want to consider him evil. Chaotic good could fit simply because the two alignments could easily overlap in the eyes of most.
