Hyjal as an RP Location

Something else came to mind in the debate about certain rp locations. We've done rp in places that didn't represent the actual location. Like when we go to uninstanced Zul'Gurub and Zul'Farrak we usually treat these two as generic troll ruins. There have also been times when we had dungeoneering rp in places like Karazhan or just outside it. ICly the zone could represent a different place than what it is OOCly.

Eh. As I said earlier, it would be kind of hard to pass off a place with a giant black crater and giant tree with giant Draenei skeleton hanging off of it as somewhere else.

Could just block off that part or pretend it doesn't exist.

But what about when Hyjal is opened via pre-Cata events (which we're supposed to be doing, I think)? Will this forest just disappear off the map?

Hyjal events could possibly be done in a phase. Who knows?

But after the events? We have two zones in one place.

I think after the events we'd be heading towards Cataclysm meaning we'd have to wipe it with a new server core or such.

That's what I'm guessing, at least.

That actually isn't a Draenei Skelly that's Archimonde, And I do believe that Velen would recognize who it was at a glance.
