Tales From the Older Days - With Screenshots!

With my recent promotion to trial GM, I've been reminiscing quite a bit about the old days. Back when CotH was still on WotLK, Cata was just a rumor, and any time someone asked "what did I miss?" we could jokingly say "Cataclysm". Well, out of curiosity, I got to looking in my old laptop hard drive that happens to still have that dusty old WotLK installation -- with plenty of screenshots! Granted I do have a slightly older hard drive that might have some older things on it, but I don't know where that drive is. But, I'll go through what I do have!

So my gift to CotH is a blast from the past. As far back as October of 2011!

Like before Garm got all mutated and Sangreala messed everything up. We knew how to have all sorts of fun with the old dailies.

Now in my treasure trove of screenshots is something that I didn't expect to find. While it wasn't the exact instance I told the staff about, it's still relevant. Here's a little story:
Back in late 2012, @"Technomancer" made a server. He shared it with a handful of people and it was loads of fun to play around in. He doesn't have the server anymore. It lived only for a short time, but having that personal sandbox had all sorts of fun. I wish I had the screenshots of my hoard of Kael'thas vs hoard of Varian, but I do have something else that will make @"Mathias" love me.

So. This is old Rensin, in the idea that he was "IN SPAEC". See, about... five, six years ago? Before we had the WotLK server, Mikain was in charge of a -secondary- server and storyline that existed very, very briefly. Kretol gave him support on it, we had our own little forums for it... and it was for basically a "Warcraft in space" sort of theme.

If I remember correctly, it became a test server for Mikain and Tails to make custom locations in---locations that would become used for the Sin'Sholai events. I think it was Stromguard? Memory doesn't serve me! Was long ago.

A couple years ago, Mouse and I wanted to make super heroes. So I made "Howl", who used to be Mikain's second in command--- to his character "Hoot", who became Screechowl.

SO. This is something someone made for me. Long ago, Rensin made a name for himself by wrestling a bear... naked. The bear was going for what it thought was a sausage on the man... so Rensin kicked the bear in the testicles.

In a round-about way, this also led to the creation of "Barry". The stuffed bear Xavier is infatuated with.

This picture depicts how awesome Rensin is. I love it. That is all.

Ahh. I don't have any pictures pre-Sin'Sholai. Probably because those were all screenshots of people doin' bad stuff. Also, REALLY old CoTH was kinda... poopy. Heh. Like, I could have screenshotted all the undead x anything eRP that happened a lot, but. Man, I only had so much room on my photobucket.
