Server Downtime - Testing 3.0.8 Compatibility

So, I patched up to 3.0.8a, made sure my realmlist was right, and am pretty much finished with repairing. Before I tried to repair, the server wouldn't let me log on, saying that my info was invalid, when I know otherwise. In the case that repair doesn't work, are there any other ideas that could help me?

Maybe a password reset could help. (It can be done by going into Components)

Edit1: Uhh... Two things. First of all, my Repair's on step 17/17, and it's just... Downloading -stuff- (dunno what), and I can't seem to get the password change to work. Doesn't matter how much I try to seduce the button with clicks, it just won't do anything for me... v.v (I tried some of the other things, like Unstucker, and they work for me, just not Pass. Change). Help?

I've just realised that the password reset doesn't work either.

And when it downloads, just cancel it. Or you can let it download, then delete it later.

Okay, so, I can't change my pass., I stopped my repair thing 'cause it looked like it was going on forever, I had some file called bad.piece, which I noticed someone else mentioning, and I deleted that, too... Uhh... I think that's all. Anyway, it still won't work.

Edit: I ran the Repair again, this time it went all the way through without any issues. Then, I reset my Realmlist again, but it STILL won't work.

Edit2: Alright, this is really weird. So, in the Data/enUS folders, my realmlist thing is set to "set realmlist coth.game-host.org", yet just to be sure, I tried logging onto my Live account, and it connected me to Live. The realmlist folder that I kept with the original Live address thing is just sitting in the general WoW folder. I suppose I'll try deleting that and seeing if I'll stop being sent to Live, but I don't get the feeling that will work.

Not sure if this is only on my end, but I've been getting really frequent "WoW Errors" that like open up and shut down my game.

Is the new patch completely required to play? My patcher isn't working correctly. Every time I open it, it works for a little bit before it stops and quits unexpectedly. I have tried multiple patch mirrors and it still isn't working. Any suggestions from anyone? (By the way I am using a Mac.)

Well, I updated to 3.0.8, and replaced the realmlist. But it still gives me an error.
I think that the game has automatically updated to 3.0.8a, which in turn has ruined the entire thing, whatever the problem is, I cannot log in any more. Try as I might. So I suppose I will have to wait until the server is moved to the current version, since I don't have the time and patience to uninstall everything to install it all over again.

I hate Blizzard and their auto-updater, I closed the window as soon as it popped up, but it must still have managed to update.

Download 3.0.8a from Arakkoa if you haven't got it already, be sure that you have it though.

The current server version -is- the latest WoW version. I just didn't differentiate between 3.0.8 and 3.0.8a.
In other words, so long as the version is 9506, you should be fine.

It seems I've been having the same problem as these people have.

I've got my realmlist correct, downloaded it straight from this site into the region foldier.
I'm using the latest WoW patch ( I was playing Live a moment ago with no problem).
I logged into the site using the same information I used to try and log into the server with. I got into the site without a hitch, but the server claimed I had invalid information.
Is there anything else that can be done?

Your problem is actually different - you didn't make a server account.
Use the link in the top-right corner of the site.

Nothing is working. I'm at 3.0.8, I tried 3 different places to dowload 3.0.8a, and the first was just a bunch of useless folders and files that I couldn't open[Arrokoa], the second said I was missing data for GB [Rapidshare], the third's installer would not open, saying that I may be out of hard drive disk space when I have half the space on it left. Halp? Link some sites that will work, pretty please?
