Maybe when players are raised to level 80, their weapon skills should be raised to the max?

For some people, RP might be based around shooting/attacking animals and such.

Thought I'd say something. :P

Check Shatterspear, there are training weapons/mobs next to the Dungeon set vendors to raise weapon skill quickly.
