But think about it this way...

If I want to make a level 1, and I don't like the set I used...

What's to stop me form just deleting, remaking, and getting a whole new set?

What about this system:

Level ones can't use .addrp
People who have taken a token to level 50, have limited use of .addrp
People with approved characters at level 80 have full use of .addrp.

Sounds good, but might be hard to code. I have little to no knowledge on GM, coding and everything of that sort, so I've no idea if it's possible.

edit: I guess we can only really wait to see what th GM team/overlords decide, and a possible explanation on how exactly it will work.

No offense, but it sounds that you are saying you like it better when you can picture the scene and characters how you want to, rather than seeing how others, or those that write the work perceive it.

am I misunderstanding?

Nope. You've got it absolutely right. I have my own visions, and everyone else has theirs.
I more meant doing the whole one outfit before getting profiled thing, but offer a way for peons to gain access to the command if they feel like profiling a few characters before obtaining gruntship. Some peons put out profiles on the first day, but then they'd have to wait the month in order to dress their character up in more than one outfit because they're not able to be a grunt yet. No one really needs encouragement to become one.

...*looks at LostStranger*

...Most everyone, that is.
They could dress up in more than one outfit. They'd just have to obtain it by normal methods, rather than it being handed to them for nothing, as much as they want and as often as they want.
Well like I said.

If you want to limit peoples use of .addrp, you have to find a way to keep them from just deleting and remaking the character to reset their uses.
What about the various broken quests which probaly rewards with the item they'd need?

... I really think the silver token thing would be better, but that'd be too much work for them GMs!
Make it so the armor binds. That way if they try that, they can't just mail the old armor to the new character.
If people are so hellbent to exploit the restrictions as to remaking their character every time they want a different outfit, power to them.

If I'm correct, the .addrp'able items are set to BoP-- it not already, they would be if this was implemented.
What do you mean Rensin?

I'm saying that, if I used up the maximum allowed uses on Kynbria as an example...

I didn't like how she looked.

I could just delete her, and remake her so that the amount of times I can use .addrp would be reset.
... Well, I don't - in all honesty - see thats a much of a problem. There are times we add the wrong item and so forth, and if the .addrp was limited, then I'd simply delete my character, remake it, and get the correct item/set again. /shrug
But that would take away the purpose of limiting the times they can use it in the first place.
Not really. You'd still only have one set of items on that character.
How so?

If you delete and remake it... it's a new character.

The set would be deleted and you would have a fresh amount of .addrp to use.

Could literally just delete and remake every time you want a new set.
At this point it appears we're scrounging for reasons to not implement a system that might very well be better than the one we have currently.
