Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

In light of recent situations, a new policy has been put in place regarding Character Deaths and Maiming:
Quote:If you place your character in a dangerous situation, and someone in the area warns you, you may leave the area IC'ly. If you do not, you are consenting to being killed. Period, end of story.

Now, the portal will take you to Arathi Basin. Most work has been done, and feel free to visit the Wiki to see a map of the region.

The requirements for creating a new server account have been further restricted.
Now, a new user must create a thread in the Introductions forum before they will be allowed to create a server account. Be mindful that posts with only one or two sentences will likely result in a ban. Be sure to read the stickies within that forum for information!

| Server Downtime - CANCELED |

The downtime has been canceled. Check the last post in the thread by me for info.

I'll be transferring things over to the latest NCDB database, so some custom things may not be around when it comes back up (notably, any extra normal NPCs that were spawned in a normal map - for instance, extra guards in a city, etc).
In addition, all normal mobs will initially be reverted back to their 'normal' strength (such as guards), though many will be bumped back up a bit in strength (perhaps not as much as previously, however).
The downtime is anticipated to last a few hours while I try to transfer all the custom stuff over to the new database.
