I'd most likely make a better Enforcer. What tells me this, I think, is when I read that I will have to be more patient and neutral when it comes to problems. Sounds a lot like me. I'm a terrible host for events, and that's why that'd be my last choice, behind the fourth option on the list. *nod nod*

Content/Storyline - emphasis on the storyline.

It'd be a good thing to separate Storyline from Community as lots of people with good DM-ing skills and Lore knowledge would make the server better by just being given extra tools to do so.

If I was making the separation, though - I'd put IC-enforcement (NPCs & guards) and profile checking under Storyline GM responsibilities, since it would be Storyline GMs' jobs to be most up to date with lore and RP etiquette. That would allow Enforcers and Community GMs to also not need such an advanced level of lore-awareness.

Also, yea - if anyone is seen by the staff as being able to hold more than one of these roles at the same time, they totally should.

Ho-hum..
Yes, well. Community would be the choice for me. Only job I could do is socialize with people, and.. yeah.
Content/Storyline just wouldn't suit me. I'm a complete ass with the lore, and some of you who have seen my character profiles.. Yeah, you know how bad I am.
And Enforcer.. Seriously, who would take me seriously?
Heh, that's ironic..

Yeah.

Mmm, probably Community for me too. I'm usually hanging around in game talking to a variety of people anyway! While I do like coming up with storylines and such, I think that would get placed on the back-burner for a bit because I'm so shy and wouldn't want to make any horrid, horrid lore mistakes. xD Enforcer wouldn't be too far off though, considering the kinds of things I have to do for a living. Awwchyea, layin' down the law. But in all seriousness, I'd just be happy to help anyway I could at that point.

i'd most likely wanna do Storyline, but I'd also be fine with Community.

My main forte would be storylines, since I could always cook up Lore in my head. On events, I'd need to work a little bit on hosting--as I enjoy doing them, they end up being rather sloppy if I don't put some effort into it.

As for community? I love the playerbase, and I'm sure they hate me back. I'd think it'd be a %50/50 in between community and storyline. Of course, enforcing's fun too, I guess you could say where-ever I'm needed that's where I'd go XD
So Ivan say to me "Who was talking device then?"

And then Sergei say "But Ivan is dead"

That is when I realize Sergei was bear.

Kretol Wrote:Community - This type would be more focused on the work side of things as well as OOC communication with players, such as taking care of tickets, approving profiles, helping folks with other schtuff in-game, etc.

Yup, that's me. I would love to work with the community, approve profiles and such and such. I like to be a helpful person.

Events? I'm not on at the right time to actually be in events. . . Damn Australian Timezone.

Enforcer? I could do it but it's not preferable.

I would SO love a Content position! I just LOVE RP and People and stuff like that and bringing my lore-geekness to others is just a desire I only hope to satisfy!

I'd definitely want to help with community stuff, such as tickets, talking problems through with people, and just being generally friendly. I've also had experience handling a server, what with the technical stuff, so Tech support would be my forté. Plus, I'm SOMEWHAT tech-savvy if I may say so myself. Although I would enjoy the Storyline GM position, I'd much rather be helping the community in a more friendly, social way. Although, like most GMs, if the situation calls for it, then I would put on my srs bzns face, my best confrontational suit, and pull out the GM hammer of +3 Punishment.

That said, I already do a lot of that now, bar the approving of profiles, doing of tickets and brandishing of feared hammers. 'Tis a good life!
