Who Are The Tirisfal Society?
"The Tirisfal Society was founded by Iacton Grainer, a scribe and farmer's son in life, who after facing undeath sought to secure and support his fellow forsaken. Not being a marshal minded man he began to seek out people to help them come to terms with undeath and the things that had happened to them. In time the society was formed, a group of individuals who aim to help in supporting the Forsaken, and by extension the Horde, in any way they can." - The Tirisfal Society, a Guide
Although a benign group on the surface they have a much darker core. The society seeks to ensure the 'purity and strength' of the Forsaken and will do this by any means. Those who would rally opposition to the Queen are assassinated, those who would develop ways to destroy Forsaken have there works retrieved and studied for alternate uses and the development of new protections, even the most high ranking of Forsaken society are not beyond the watch of the society. Assassins, Warlocks, Shadow Priests and many other 'Undesirables' find new purpose and direction (along with protection for there own activities) with The Tirisfal Society.
Knowing Your Place
-New Benefactor: By pledging any kind of support you are granted this title.
-Trustee: Having proved your value and ability you have been brought closer into the fold and may try to gather support for initiation into the society.
-Member: You have been selected by others in the order (3 members or 1 Valued Member and 1 Member or any 1 higher than Valued Member) to be initiated as a full member of the Society.
-Valued Member: Although it has no 'real' difference to being a Member your word is more readily heard as you have proved yourself to the society.
-Organiser: You are now supported by enough Members (5 Members and 2 Valued Members) to be raised to the position of an Organiser as soon as an Organiser or higher approves, from now on it is your job to find new ways to assist the Society and (with support from your peers) undertake the event.
What The Society Aim To Do
The Tirisfal Society seek one thing and one thing alone, a strong and united Forsaken city state working together for the best of the Forsaken.
Thou Shalt Not:
IC:
Reveal the nature of the society to those who are not Trustees without direct instruction by an Organiser or above.
Ignore the orders of your superiors. You may question them and reason for other courses of action but never ignore them.
Betray the society, its members or aims.
OOC:
Disrespect people.
Meta-game, you may only use knowledge gained IC.
Disobey the rules of the Server.
How Do I Join?
IC:
You can speak with any of our Members (so long as they reveal they are from the society) and ask to become a Benefactor or you can send a letter to any Organiser or higher who is listed below.
OOC:
You can send an OOC message to any Organiser or higher who is listed below either on the forum or in-game and we will endeavour to arrange a promotional invitation letter from the society.
