Prestige Class Wiki Pages
#31
I have now completed all of the Prestige pages except for Archdruid as I cannot find very much information about them. If anyone is willing to show me to some more then just the current WoWWiki page it would be much appreciated. Otherwise, it is now finished.

Quote:Malfurion generally looks like a normal male night elf, with the exception of a pair of antlers growing from his head. Unlike most other night elves with antlers (a sign of great druidic potential), he grew them later in life while other elves such as Broll Bearmantle had them at birth.

From what we can see from this little tidbit, a powerful Druid -will- grow antlers. And seeing as Malfurion is really the only reference we really have for an Archdruid (The others have almost no information), there's little else to go by there. However, I would like to imagine that their druid abilities become stronger. They would have stronger control over any form they might have. Their powers would become much stronger. They would be able to heal even the deadliest of wounds. And so on.

I imagine that Archdruids have a lot of power in Night Elf/Tauren society. They are respected and admired by their kin, especially fellow druids who would look to the Archdruid for guidance. However, this does not mean they are outside the law. Quite contrarily, the law is even more harsh to them in Darnassus/Thunder Bluff, for the Night Elves/Tauren would not want to see one of their great Druids succumb to a life of petty crimes.

In order to train to become an Archdruid one would have to enter the Emerald Dream. It is in the dream that they will learn more about nature and what it really means to be a druid. Or maybe an Archdruid will visit them during the dream and train him/her of their ways. Maybe even a Keeper of the Grove will do this. In any case, upon becoming an Archdruid they will wake up eventually from the dream, and then they will have antlers, signifying their power.

Archdruids would be able to do many things relating to nature. They would be able to hide themselves amongst the trees and forestry as a chameleon does. They could speak to animals and plants, learn of recent events from their point of view. They can restore life to plants, though this comes at a great expense of their energy. They can even summon aid from the forests around them in the form of animal allies and animated trees. Actually, I imagine they'd have access to any power a Keeper of the Grove would.

However, should an Archdruid begin to abuse their powers, they would notice that their antlers 'shrink'. As they continue carelessly using their abilities, their antlers will continue to shrink and shrink until they no longer exist. It is at that point that the Archdruid would simply be a normal druid once again. And I doubt the Kal'Dorei/Tauren would even look at a druid that was once an Archdruid without a display of disgust upon their faces. Abusing powers mostly revolves around doing things to 'show off' (Yeah, I can restore life to that flower. *SPELL*. Yeah, I'm awesome)

Mind you, this is all just my interpretation of the Archdruid. None of this is actually lore. It is simply how I feel this class could work.

Thanks for readin'!

If a GM would be glad for this to be what a description of a Archdruid would be, you could write the page yourself if you wished to. That would be very helpful. ^.^

I would be more than happy to. If...I knew how to work the wiki. But eh. I guess I could just write it up.

I could always put in all the important things and all you have to do is write in the information in the spaces provided, shall I do that?

Sounds like a plan!

There we are, all done. Page can be found here and all you need to do is make a Wiki account, if you haven't already, click Edit up at the top and replace the two notes in square brackets with your information on Archdruids.

Thank you for this Xigo =)

Changes have been submitted to the page. I would like to request that a GM review the page and deem whether it is fitting of an Archdruid or not. Thank you.
