Death Knights... Dead or Alive?
#1
I actually have two questions for some people, I would like to know / have some discussion over...

First and foremost; Could a Death Knight be technically alive but appear dead? I'm not saying like he/she didn't eat, sleep, etc... I'm talking about like just the skin appearance, and hair. An example would be such like just very pale skin, eyes appearing to be burned out but they are still there, hair is a bit dead like almost as if it was rotting but wasn't... Could that be possible?

My other question; Could a Death Knight (Alive) Be into Frost a wee bit, if from a retail perspective it would be those hybrids Frost and Blood or etc etc... But the meat of the question is if an alive Death Knight could be into Frost and second a specialization, of course it would not be like other Death Knights whom are able to say take out the entire heat out from completely around them for long periods of times, but like short little bursts... I am unclear how to ask that :3.

But anyway thank you for reading and taking the time to think it over and comment your comments / answers / opinions yata yata...

... I'm of the opinion that 'alive' Death Knights shouldn't really be possible. Nor do I think Death Knights are simply able to chill the air about them simply by specializing in Frost runes.

If I did believe in living DKs though, I would reply no to the first one, and no to the second because it shouldn't be doable in the first place.

Still, I simply recommend you make a dead DK instead of a living one.

EDIT: Woops, didn't read the eyes being burnt out of your head thing. Uh, that's a big... wait.

Maybe? Perhaps you have arcane sight, like most Forsaken?

I have to agree with community, Living DKs are a real contradiction.

and I would imagine that living DK would not be able to do frost because the abilities in frost seem to point towards the Death Knights blood being frozen or something.
THANK YOU OCEANS

Technically, there are living Death Knights. They are heroes who have given their souls over to the Lich King, in exchange for power. But these Death Knights would be considered 2nd generation. An example of this sort of Death Knight, is Arthas/Baron Rivendare. They were two living people who became Death Knights, not by dying, but by giving their souls over to Frostmourne/Lich King.

I mean, certain things make sense. The pale skin is plausible. The eyes being burnt out is definitely not, because a Death Knight of the 3rd generation has glowing blue eyes. 2nd do not, however their hair does turn to white not rotted.

No, as said above. It shouldn't be doable. It's easier to make a dead one, compared to a living one.

Alright :) Thanks for the support.

And I know living DKs are kinda contradictory, the way mine is going to be set up is I planned on it being like barely alive, as well as the loss of emotion, the desensitizing from Lich King and what not...

And I thought of it's blood freezing too, and I'll just use blood or something else then :)
But nonetheless thank you for all the support :D

Is pretty nice, I suggest giving it a read.

Also, when you appear dead it is generally because decay has set in, if you just mean your character looks unusually pale that's one thing, but that won't make anyone who's seen a corpse think they are undead. I suppose you could make up some cosmetics though, but it'll be a lot of hard work on your character to keep appearances up.

It doesn't matter wether your DK is dead or alive, they can specialize into any of their talent trees.
All makt åt Tengil, vår befriare!
