Grakor's Rambling Rant on the Server

I just have a quick question.... If we're going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about the Prestiges that apparently don't work, why do we have them in the first place? I don't see the issue with me making a Forsaken Death Knight, get some .lo rp or real gear even, and call myself a Dark Ranger. If I'm only a Peon, why can't I make a Prestige? Because I have a chance of not staying long enough? If I don't stay long enough, tough luck for me, I suppose. If I haven't "learned the ropes of the server", yet, then why is that holding me back? I don't need to know a server to play a class I love to death.

If it's the fact that some people will "abuse" the Prestige. how is that possible if we equal them down to what they should be, which is a class with different abilities than the already given base classes by Blizzard? Now, I'm not saying I am perfectly fine with Lithy being an Archer and Rhyan being a simple Mage, I am cool with that, they're two classes I can play and they work. But what's stopping me from making Lithy a Demon Hunter? Archers/Hunters/Beast Masters/Survivalists already have to know how to track most things, if I already know how to track Daemons, aren't I already a foot step into the door of Demon Hunter-hood? Now I'm bound to get a reply saying that I can't be a female Demon Hunter, or they're just not as popular, well, honestly, if I can find someone who's willing to pull me out of the norm more than a Demon Hunter already is, then that should be fine. I'm not trying to be a speshul snowflayk with this, if anything, Lithy would hate being popular. Growing up she had one single best friend who stuck with her through anything. And right now, I'm thinking about when to ICly tell Lith her best friend has been dead for a long while.

This is my own little rant within a rant about a rant. CAUSE YO DAWG I HRD U LIEK RANTS SO I MADE A RANT SO U CAN RANT WHILE YOU RANT IN A RANT!

I'm going to lock this thread.

However, before I do, I simply want to point something out. People can say rant threads are useless. Heck, maybe they are. This one, however, serves at least one purpose. No one can say they were surprised when things on the server change, when one of the admins is discontent with how things are going.

Rants may make you think. They may make you aware of the line of thinking behind future actions, and so on.

I feel this rant has served its purpose.
