So, the winds of change have hit the server, and events are moving slowly but surely towards Cataclysm. And I know a lot of people are excited about the new races for CotH roleplay that will be made available come this next expansion. On CotH, I've really come to enjoy playing characters who are defined by major changes in their lives, (especially with a certain someone coping with being the walking dead) and Worgen seem like a whole new adventure in turning a character's world upside down.
The only thing is, I'd like a chance to play a character like this both before and after such a traumatic event as being turned into a giant talking dogmonster. And I'd like to do it with CotH people in the CotH canon. (Seeing as there's no actual Gilneas zone in WotlK, it would pretty much have to occur in the form of IC forum posts) The first part of the Worgen starting quests occur a year before the events of Cataclysm, so it seems like now's the perfect time to start playing future Worgens if we were to flesh them out nicely and follow the Server's timeline.
But that's all a hypothetical. Now I ask of y'all what would need to happen to make this possible, if you question if it even should occur, and, of course, if anyone is interested enough to participate.
