Rigley's Event Interest Inventory, Part Whichever
#31
So hey!

I must seem very indecisive at this point (which I am).

While I've already been writing up plotlines and stuff for Gnomeregan (and have a draft of the plague event done), I've been debating between continuing Northwind. While it's possible I could hit both of these in time I'm more wondering on immediate stuff; so I've decided to just throw a poll up this time around and see what people would be more interested in.

Northwind, for those who didn't see the event line prior, is basically my take on survival horror. It's an amalgamation of a few different horror series, mostly taking from stuff like Silent Hill. While I had a lot of fun with the series (a month or so's worth, culminating in probably one of my most successful events, a week-long combination with Grakor's Skin Thieves line), I ultimately am not sure about returning it still, due to it being a more isolated event chain, and harder to see effects of in the real world.

...But on the other hand, it's really fun. And while I've interest in the other ideas, I figured it would be better to figure it out with input.

While it doesn't affect the world, I do like how much Northwind affects the individual characters. It's hard (I'm sure some people have managed) to go into there and leave without significant character development. And as you said, you may be able to run them in tandem.

(I also want small-group Northwind 'cause I want some Black Harvest "oh mah gad we're alive again" RP)

Aye, as Caravan mentioned, I'd love an opportunity for a couple folk to participate in Northwind at the same time.

So yeah. About that.

I may have led a wild goose chase here, because as my limited explorations back towards Northwind events has shown me, I'm just still not in the mood for this stuff yet.

Instead I've found myself gravitating towards some other events of which some of you may have heard or seen of, concerning assassination and counter-assassination work for mercenaries and assassins. It's proven to be pretty good so far, and I'll be opening it up to more than testing come sometime today or tomorrow.

Regarding this whole thread, I honestly am pretty ashamed at the way I've tugged back and forth here. Hopefully I can settle down and start being more consistent again, but these last few months of sporadic inactivity have been a bit troublesome for me. With my interest renewed somewhat I hope I can crank out some better stuff.

Apologies, just for the record before I head into my new events. I will return to Northwind sometime, I just can't bring myself to get as invested as I was prior -at the moment-. And I don't think that's fair for the people participating if I can't deliver.
