Deathknights, Undead, and Gnomes!
#1
What do these all have in common?

-They can't have sex-.

Yes, I'm serious. I've seen more than a few people here talk about lovers, that happen to be of these races. Loving one another is fine, but when it comes right down to it, it's impossible for these races to mate with eachother.

Gnomes, have evolved in a way where it is very difficult for them to mate the standard way.

Hence, the reason they use testubes to conceive.

As for -anything- undead, think about it realistically. There is no bloodflow. You're rotting. Stuff is falling off.

How in hell could you mate?

Again, I'm saying this because it's getting... silly to see these things happen over and over again, especially with undead.

I'm not even sure where this is from. :?

And I never did find anything supporting the test tubes.

Wait, what? Undead having...

Wait, what? Why would you...

*facedesk*

Guys. Use common sense. Undead can't mate for obvious reasons. If people are actually doing this, Rensin bringing this up was a damn good idea.

This was from the books, actually.

Know which? I just read the gnome page and it gives the same info as on Wowwiki. :\

I don't think it'd be too far fetched, I've just never seen any mention of gnomes and test tubes.

It's probably in one of the hundred short stories in the books. I cba to read them all.

Spoiler:
This ruins my plans for midget porn.

It's not that they -can't-, it's more that it's awkward. And I think it is from one of the five million stories in those books.

It's probably there to see if anyone actually read the books.

I find it difficult to believe that anything would evolve in such a way as to make reproduction more awkward/difficult. Seems kind of counterproductive to the whole 'evolution' thing to me. I'd really like to know which books this is from, because I've never heard of it before now.

And yes, no undead ERP please. LOL

I remember it as being they evolved this way because of the testtube thing being more prevelant. Their bodies acclaimated to their minds, rather than physical features.

Darwin is rolling in his grave. LOL Just kidding.

I suppose I can see that as being something that Blizz would throw out there in the Warcraft Universe and attempt to make it commonplace. My brain just doesn't like the idea as a Biology geek. I honestly had not heard about this until this thread, kind of interesting/weird thing I'll have to store in the data banks.

Crazy Gnomes and their science experiments.

I'm so sorry I have to say this...

DOES IT GLISTEN?

I have to say that honestly, I think the Gnome thing is eh. Kinda dumb, imo. Yes, you did say that they -can-, it's just awkward, but if you think about it ("It's not awkward to a Gnome." -Kiffles) midgets, or whatever you wanna call them have children without test tubes(well maybe some do..), so I don't think it'd be majorly difficult. Of course, the test tube thing isn't outside of the realm of possibility. I mean.. they are Gnomes. They're hardcore. But their body structure and all would just be alot smaller and all that. Going by game looks, they make 'em look like they're a foot or two tall. When they're not.

Also, honestly, you can't really trust -any- writing when it comes to Blizzard lore.. ("It's a very debatable topic." -Kiffles) They contradict themselves so much, half the shit is just.. lawlz. But anyway. There's my points. I think there were some more, but I forgot them. Fusk you ADD.

Oh and this final thing from Kiffles.. ("Stop quoting me, damnit!")

I bet they have test-tube kids because they want to use science instead of nature. Most Gnomes would probably rather tinker on a child together than have sex, I'd think.
