People differentiating between Flight form and normal Birds?

It means 'Has this ever happened in the lore before'. Or, in this instance, 'Has Blizzard ever had a Druid use such a small form?'.

It matters because we have a very strong care for the lore. If we begin to screw with the lore, then suddenly the World of Warcraft gets rather odd. We'd rather keep it the way it was intended.

When CotH has an idea, it asks itself 'Would this make sense in the lore' before committing to the idea. It's the way things work here.

I am certain Alliance or Horde druids would have been doing this en masse if it was possible. Since they havn't. It isn't possible.

Ok, so explain to me why the druids of the Alliance and Horde have not scouted the cities, or whatever in bird form them.

Because we're also Supportive spellcasters ¬¬ And also because there's not much of us,
Only Nightelfs and Taurens have the ability to become a druid.

Ima tell you guys something ive always been using as a great rp tool for druids. Its called [item]Noggenfogger Elixer[/item] and you can buy it from a person in Gatgitan, goblin desert place, however you spell it, aftr completeing some easy quests. It has three effects, the two most common are to make you a skeleton, and to make you smaller. Once small, you can turn into cat for a more friendly house cat apperience, bird so you actualy look like a regular bird, and bear, well, bear makes you look like a small bear.

I think as many have said, a regular druid form is obvios, spelling, sorry, but with this it could make you look more natural.

Someone should look into it because ive never used it on this server and dont know if it even works.

...I think Druids respect their forms enough to not alter them with a Goblin-made potion. To know how to use a form is to mean one has a very strong connection with nature. To have respect for it.

I think most Druids would only use a form if absolutely necessary, or if they want to blend in with -nature- more. They wouldn't just walk around a city in one of their forms for kicks, or that they feel like it. Many would possibly reply to a 'Hey, change into cat form so you can purr to me,' or 'Hey, lemme scratch you behind the ears when you're a bear,' with a 'No.'

Goblins love technology. Druids tend not to use technology.

Goblins love money. Druids tend not to care too much about money.

Why would a Druid deal with a Goblin?

In fact, it is likely that a Druid wouldn't even -have- the money to buy the potion, as Druids are used to living off the land. Heck, a Druid in a settlement in the first place is a stretch unless he has business there.

Of course, there are exceptions to everything. But still...

I once read a great signature by Kretol (spelling?) that said to not just say your character wouldnt but make a reason why they would.

...That does not apply to this.

That refers to a situation where you role playing your character the way you are interferes with the RP of others. If I use your argument, I could have my pregnant Tauren go to fight the Lich King because, you know what, I could make a reason she would.

We need to keep our characters and the characters of others in mind when we make decisions. We don't just screw over our character's personality just so they can do something that only effects them. If your Druid had to do such to accommodate the plot, or had some reasoning behind dealing with a Goblin (Such as the need to aid friends) then sure. I understand what you're saying. But if you're only doing that so you can walk around Ratchet in Cat Form...then...I don't know what to tell you.

Can you -please- find me a canonical instance of a Druid having their flight form -that small-? Can they ever make their flight form -that small-?

If you can find a canonical instance which debunks my argument, then by all means, I will agree with you. Until then, I will continue to believe that Druids cannot have their flight form that small.

so we can speak, we don't do that because it's too hard,
But changing our size should be a lot more basic.
It's our choice whether to mess about with Goblins or not anyways,

I did not ask for 4 valid points. I asked for a valid point that is supported by the lore.

Though, apparently you have one, and we can lay this argument to rest when you wake up in the morning.

I only ask that when you do such, you present this information with a source to back it up. I would appreciate a link to something, or some way I (or anyone else who is interested) can confirm your words.

Druids of the Talon do what they're intended for. Scouting on enemy forces, and supportive spell casting. Not spying on enemy towns.

I'd like to point out that when you were doing this before, two GMs told you it was a no-no, and to stop immediately or be shot at.
