First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
About me? Well, I'm an IT and Maths student from Great Britain, I've been a roleplayer for quite some time and I was one of the admins who reformed one of the most well-known servers of all time, until mutiny occured. For a while, I've been serverless but I've the growing urge to return. My first instinct was to return to the old server but since that has been infested with hardcore roleplayers and trolls, I decided to try out Conquest of the Horde. I won't mention said server, just in case that would be frowned upon.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I think I've explained that, but England and I speak English.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
Bought the game at the behest of a friend four years ago, started roleplaying about a year later and throughout my teens, I've been roleplaying - either playing Dungeons and Dragons or on forums or private servers - and it's become a big part of my life. Now, not as much, but I've learnt a lot from my experiences.
What made you seek our server over others? (Or how did you find us?):
Word of mouth, really. I'm looking for somewhere not infested by hardcore elitists or trolls and I think I have found it here.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
Eccentric but serious. Some of you - if you've been on the server I was on prior - may have heard of The Regiment. If you have, which I imagine some may, you'll know exactly what I mean. I love storylines and I love creating guilds. I also have a plan for this server, if permitted.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Forsaken. Purely because of the storyline and the madness. Gnomes, for their cute insanity, are a runner-up. My favourite classes tends to be civilians, those without hard experience as a warrior or mage, purely because these are the people that make up society, the people that are saved by the heroes of Azeroth.
What are your expectations of this server?:
A chance to casually roleplay and set up a friendly, comedic yet serious guild.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
I don't really understand the question. In my experience, the rules listed are pretty much the standard everywhere else. I guess I like that they are still present?
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
I'm an author and I spent about five minutes drafting something up for a friend. I suppose I could share it here. I'll post it in a spoiler down at the bottom. Mind that it only took five minutes and it's a very, very experimentive writing style.
Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
If one was wanting to form up a city watch, in, say, Stormwind... what would be required first hand?
