First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I'm a recreational RP server lover. I enjoy playing a game that's very strongly based around the structure of the people within it. I enjoy questing alone or in a group and I am always looking to make new comrades along the way.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I live in the US born and raised and my primary language is English.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
Had a few friends that were really into the game and I became pretty attached to it myself. What drew me in the most was the way you could gather a group of people together from all over the world and set out to achieve a common goal.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I found the server listing in Google when trying to find a new server to play on. Yours caught my eye when I saw it wasn't a straight to 80-90 server. in my opinion that ruins the game play.

What kinds of role play do you enjoy?:
In depth role play where everyone plays their role in a way that you actually live in the community or world. I enjoy very strong characters. In the real world, and the digital one. People or things that remind you of someone or something in a characters speech or play style that really stands out as something you recognize. To me a good role playing game strives for variety as long as the variety that is in place doesn't overwhelm or take away from the overall experience. Being an avid member of the community and helping others in need is always great in my book as well.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
I really enjoy blood elf mage's. Ive always had a fondness for the Blood Elf racial abilities and I really enjoy being able to support other players in a tense situation.

What are your expectations of this server?:
To be able to have fun playing a game that I enjoy with a long list of people who feel the same.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Maturity. If people cant be mature, I don't mean of a specific age, but mature about the decisions the make in a game and the consequences then the game will be better for that.

To be honest I'm not really good at writing I'm better at talking, I enjoy a good story myself as well but Ive never been good at telling them, and I don't want to repeat a story told to me by someone else because then I wouldn't be giving you what you asked for.

I look forward to being able to play on your servers and enjoy the spoils that most all of us desire.

I'm glad to see that you're interested in joining our server. Before the introduction can be approved, I'm going to ask for some very minor touch-ups that will only take a few minutes.

First, I'd like to ask that you review the introduction for capitalization errors, particularly with the use of i instead of I.

Secondly, I'd like to see you expand on some of your answers, these two specifically:

Hello, Sk8devil585, and welcome to COTH!

If you haven’t already, please do make sure to double-check the rules and policies so you’re for sure familiar to the server’s expectations! If you have further questions, I recommend giving this guide a read, as it contains a lot of helpful information for players who are new to the server. Also, if you haven’t already, make sure to register your in-game account in the Account Management page using the same information you registered your forum name under. As for downloading the correct client and other things that you need to do in order to connect, I recommend giving this a read, as I found it very helpful myself when we made the switch to Cataclysm.

As for making your first character, there are a lot of helpful articles and guides for you to read up on in case you don’t fully understand the lore. The wiki also contains helpful tips for making a character and for when you’re writing your first profile, such as scale and height.

When you get your account created, make sure to /join Chat and /join Barrens in-game for if you have any questions not answered in the forums. Feel free to send me a message if you need any assistance, and I’ll give if a reply as soon as I can! And if not me, any Overseer, GM, or Forum Helper.

Yes! There are just as many interesting characters in the real world as there are online, and then some. I think everyone in the world is a character, and not a caricature. If I've learned anything from the process of creative writing, it's that people watching is one of the few 'rules' that truly ends up mattering when it comes to breathing life into a character. Observations of people from the real world, when objectified onto our characters, make them more relatable and complex. Good roleplaying is developing a caricature that plays a specific role, but exceptional roleplaying is developing a character that plays many.
