Racial tensions would not increase within the Alliance or Horde because they are smart enough to know that if they fight amongst themselves then there is no way to survive with the Scourge attacking -and- an ancient dragon tearing the world a new one.

Ahh, makes sense. Focus is what Pets already have, except they'll probably change it a bit.

Alright my buddy that was at Blizzcon has finally gotten back to me with the info he has offically gathered.

Worgen begin in Duskhaven or something like that where you are about to be executed by the last of the Gilnean Humans. BUT

Genn Greymane arrives with a cure to the worgen's feral nature (Somewhat I believe it only lets you control yourself.) He injects your worgen with it and bam! You realize what you have become and even though paniced Greymane has dire news.

Not only are you to deal with the worgen that cannot be saved, but the Forsaken have launched a full out siege on Gilneas, the worgen are Gilneas' only chance of survival. So you are thrown into the bloody war of the worgen, forsaken and Gilneas.

Worgen players quickly are doing battle against all manner of forsaken weaponry utilizing their inhanced strength, speed and durability. The worgen prove to be able to combat not only the forsaken, but with the human mind back in control they can reason and make battle plans as if they were human once again. They destroy many incoming undead as well as the mindless worgen in order to save Gilneas.

In truth the people of Gilneas will be damned to being the worgen, so now you are caught up between being a feral monster and a proud Gilnean.

So, what if I don't buy Cataclysm? Will I be phased out and unable to play with the people who got it, will I simply be unable to play after that or will they include the world changes in a patch and give that for free? So what we really get with the expansion would be four new zones (Hyjal, Deepholme, the Goblin starter isles and Gilneas), new races and a few instances? Sounds pretty petty to me, hope the expansion will be chea- you know, they should give it out for free, we do after all pay a monthly fee to play.

There will be a major content patch so that you get the world changes, but I guess you won't be able to go to new continents and level to 85 and play Goblins and such.

A quick question: Who actually -buys- the expansions? None of the expansions seem worth buying in my opinion.

There are many places to download them for free. In fact you can download Original through Lich King here on the site.

I've bought 'em all, actually got two copies of vanilla and TBC, but I stole my brother's copies when he got tired of the game. It's for retail, so I had to get the codes and then I figured I'd get as much as I can for my money, even if it's just some plastic with colour on it.

You still have to buy the Account Code to be able to play the software on retail. Software does not equal access. The free downloads do not come with account codes.

On CotH, Account Codes do no matter. >:+3

Anyways, I feel that the Worgen transformations have a positive and negative side to them...Negatives first.

-Twilight
-Too werewolfy
-Twilight
-Maybe a little OP
-Did I forget to mention 'Twilight'?...Meh.

And the positives.

-Interesting roleplay ["Hey babe, you wanna go ou-OH BY THE LIGHT!!!"]
-Gives Worgen a chance to enter SW/IF/Any city that would reject them normally.

That's all I got. Negatives are definitely winning for now...For now.
