I don't really know what Carver is doing here, but I was merely stating my basic opinions. I suppose looking back that "Did it really..." question was meh-ish, and the pansy alchemist who runs around derping was just me not feeling like coming up with anything else, it was easy to type out. And it's not sheer dislike, it's an image of neither hate nor love.

It came across as offensive, and everyone I asked about it agreed. No foul, I would just recommend being careful. A lot of time was put into this, a lot of frustration and arguing over the system in general, and seeing it dissed so casually is...incredibly frustrating. I apologize if I came off as overly hostile as well.

Either way, this particular problem solved.

I didn't want a prestige to remain JUST "Apothecary" as we have people RPing RAS guys without the prestige, so it needed something else. Thinking back, naming it Dark Apothecary when that wasn't the theme probably wasn't the correct move. Nothing a simple rename couldn't fix.

You know, I recall looking at Aph's post earlier and being extremely confused because of that. I could have sworn I didn't write a Dark Apothecary post, heh.

...That kinda explains a lot here.

Would it be a good idea to clean the wiki of references to defunct prestiges? I was going to do it but I'm not sure if that's okay. Also, there are character categories that link from the Prestige page that I know aren't used, because they have my pre-restart characters in them.

Looks good...But I do have a question however.

I have a character that is a Exemplar...I see that Exemplar has been removed from the list of prestiges...Does my character therefore have to no longer be a exemplar or what? Yes, his training wasn't finished...but the fact that its just been tossed aside and removed as one and that there's been no guidelines as to what happens next a bit...Annoying.

Does this mean I have to reapply for it as a custom prestige then?

You can remain being an Exemplar if you so wish to. Other people who would want to become such a class would have to create a custom class for it.

Edit: Feel free to complete your training.

I just noticed two things I have questions about. It won't hurt my feelings if we don't change it, but I just thought I'd bring it up.

For Templars: Priests can also become Templars according to the books. Are we choosing to ignore this or was it just something that was missed? It's not a big deal for me personally, but it may be an issue for others.

For Demon Hunters: I have no problem with them being only Nelfs and the rare Belf, however multiple books claim it is not impossible for another race to become one, just highly unlikely. I mean, it would be so rare that I can understand why we don't allow it, I just wonder if it will ever be an option for someone who makes a convincing special profile. This also doesn't effect me (I'd never make a non-elven Demon Hunter) but it I just want to clear it up.

I can tell a lot of time went into this. Your critics will forget that we all have other things to occupy us (not even counting your freakin' real life). Great work guys! I can't wait to apply for one.

Thank you GM team for all the hours of work that you put into this.

Though I will not be making use of the system currently I like that the possibility is open in such a well constructed system. Thanks to all of you that worked on this project!

Much love,

Dragonbeard, it wouldn't be a special profile. On top of this, it's an unspoken rule that if you can get a PC to train your character, then I believe it can be a Demon Hunter/whatever you want. So, if Sozun wanted, he could train, say, Sagi as a Shadow Ascendant, etc, etc.

Templars are sword wielding, plate wearing, deeply faithful warriors. It just doesn't make sense for a Priest who does not have any experience in 2/3 of the main points to be able to become one of them.

We're going to keep Demon Hunters restricted to Night Elves and Blood Elves most likely unless someone gives us a deeply philosophical reason to make one from another race. Plus, if Blood Elves are very rare than anything else is nigh-impossible.

This is not true... as far as I'm aware. :I

Really? Well, it was 3:00 in the morning when I wrote that so I'm probably wrong, but I could have sworn that being trained by PCs meant your random race had a higher chance getting approved for a Prestige they wouldn't be allowed for, then if they were being trained by NPCs. Regardless, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Thanks for clarifying!

Out of curiosity as Kaz has the Myrmidon prestige...

Are their salaries supposed to be like that of say, Lesnar, Saint-pierre, Muhammad Ali in his day, and the like? They get tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars per fight and they simply use their fists instead of weapons the size of their bodies. Would someone with this prestige be comparable to that, or would they be more along the lines of Tom Lawlor who in his last fight got 16,000 with an 8,000 win bonus?

Simply curious, since I wasn't sure just how wealthy wealthy was with this system.
