I actually spent a LOT of time in Caer Darrow and the surrounding areas on retail during a week long RP event.

Basically Caer Darrow, the docks near it, and the three paths that lead to it are monster-less. Also, to the south of it there is an elven (I forget which elven race) outpost that you can get to through the mountain pass. There is a fairly large bridge, gate, one full house, a few run down ones, and a smithy or two in and outside the city. The actual keep has a few rooms, a second floor (no roof), the ability to get on the walls, and a small nook that is not visible (a small area that you jump down from the roof to get on). Not to mention that you can actually jump down from the second tier of walls to the cannon on the first tier.

Sorry for the long--and possibly hard-to-read--post, but this area has tons of RP possibilities and it is safe for lowbies. I could probably give someone an OOC tour if they wanted to RP in it.

EDIT: A cleared Alcaz Island with some added buildings, towers, boats, etc. would be GREAT also.
I would like to see this place, because it sounds pretty good to me. Also, when will this be put up? How many more votes do we actually -need-?
Well, considering 73% of the 102 votes are a clear YES, it's a pretty popular idea. Plus the 'maybes' take up 13%, so that's 86% total if it is done correctly and goes as planned.

There's really no harm in doing this if EVERYONE understands the risk involved in RPing there. Think of it as an experiment: If it works, awesome, we should keep it implemented. If it doesn't, it can be cleared and things will go back to normal.

This could potentially offer new RP for...
1. All character types - Lawful Good to Chaotic Evil
2. Trade/vigilante/evil guilds. Think about it. There can be guilds creating GHI items and taking over shops and turf, or a group of individuals trying to impose law upon the anarchist town.

All you need is...
1. A portal TO and FROM the town.
2. A large, monster-less area in a place that has no current lore/people roleplaying there (Caer Darrow or Alcaz could be examples). It helps if there are already walls, gates, etc.
3. A few buildings and features added. It would need at least a large tavern, a few empty houses/shops, *some docked boats and/or zepplins*, and possibly some random NPC thugs, salesmen, and townspeople.

Sorry if this was hard to read. Once again, I'm trying to get my ideas down instead of worrying about grammar.

I suggest Caer Darrow, as I have been. :3

1. It's covered, you just have a portal that goes to Scholomance. Not too sure if there's a portal back to GMI/OOC portal, easily placed.

2. Already an empty city of no NPC's.

3. I believe there's some empty buildings that we can walk into, the manor is quite big as well, could either be a tavren/shelter. NPC's could be added as well, but should be placed so they don't directly get involved with RP, as having a GM puppet those would be annoying.
Oooor, we could make it in Azshara Crater. If you go west of the arena, go up the cliff, then there's a little camp there full of Earthshakers. We could move them, or west could go south, move the walls and such back, and put a town where the walls are now.
The main point here is NOT putting up anything.

A teleport at most.

Caer Darrow can be accessed via the scholomance teleport, apparently.
